Best Time to Travel to Prague. From April to August, it is the best time to travel to this country, if you are looking to avoid the cold. In June and July the high season occurs so there are many people, but the city is also very alive.

The airport in the city of Prague. The airport is located approximately 20 km away from the center of Prague. To get to the city center from the airport, the cheapest option is via the express bus, which takes you to the central train station.   • Carlos Bridge. The oldest bridge in Prague that crosses the Vltava river. It was completed in 1402. It also stands out for the art present along the bridge.
  • John Lennon’s Wall. An artistic wall in which art has been updated since the ’80s, despite the fact that at that time the communist government erased it again and again. Fun fact, John Lennon was never in Prague.
  • Old Town Square. One of the iconic points of the city of Prague is the place where the astronomical clock is located, in addition to the Church of Our Lady, the Church of Saint Nicholas.
  • Prague Astronomical Clock. Beyond a peculiar design, this watch indicates not only the time but also the positions of the sun and the moon, so it serves as a calendar.
  • Gold alley. An alley that makes you feel like in a fairy tale. Located next to the Prague Castle, it is a picturesque street of colorful houses of relatively low height. Franz Kafka is said to have lived between these houses. Today they are souvenir shops.
  • Letná Park. A fairly large park located on the hills of Prague on the banks of the Vltava River. There are good views of Prague and its bridges. Ideal for a walk and relax. Here you can see the Prague Metronome, placed where a monument to Stalin stood, as a symbol that better times would come.
  • Prague National Museum. A museum that attracts the attention for its neo-Renaissance architecture. As a museum, it is quite poor.
  • Kampa Island. A beautiful park on the Vltava River, in the heart of Prague. A very beautiful area with gardens to walk, to relax, and to have a walk.
  • Communist era museum. If you want to know what the communist period was like in the Czech Republic, this is the place to go.
  • Wallenstein Gardens. A park at the entrance to the Senate of the Czech Republic. It’s very well maintained. A place to enjoy the tranquility and to have a walk.
